Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use my Android applications and related software services (“Services”), including Pak Cricket Scorer.

Summary

• Most scoring data (live matches, ball-by-ball detail, local history) is stored locally on your device.
• Sign-in and online features are optional. You can score matches without an account.
• If you sign in, you may publish a team and/or a player profile online, and confirmed match results may update cloud team and player records.
• Some apps may show ads through Google AdMob.

Information Stored Locally on Your Device

Unless you choose optional online features, Pak Cricket Scorer stores data on your device, such as:

• Team names, player names, photos stored on the device, and captain names
• Match details, scores, statistics, and match history
• Generated match report PDFs and shareable images (in the app’s private storage or media you save/share)
• Backup files you create (stored on your device unless you share them)

This local data is not uploaded to my servers unless you explicitly use online publish, online result confirmation, or backup/share features.

Optional Account Sign-In (Google)

Online features require you to sign in with Google. This is optional.

If you sign in, I receive and process through third-party authentication services:

• Your email address (from your Google account)
• A user account identifier used to link your account to online features

I use this information only to provide account-related and online features. I do not sell your personal information.

Optional Online Teams (Cloud)

If you publish a team online, the following may be stored on cloud servers operated by my service providers (for example, Supabase):

• Public team ID you choose (so others can find your team)
• Team name and optional team logo (if you upload one)
• Player names (and linked online player IDs, if any) in that published squad
• Account identifier linking the published team to your sign-in
• Last activity date for retention
• Team win/loss/tie counts and match result history lines (scores, result text, format, venue, date) after a result is confirmed online

Publishing a team alone does not upload full ball-by-ball match detail. Other users can find/import a published squad by public team ID. Confirmed online results may appear on that team’s public online record.

Limits that apply to online teams:

• One Google account may publish one active online team at a time.
• Online teams with no activity for 180 days (no publish/update and no confirmed online match involving the team) may be automatically deleted from our servers, including related online roster and match-history data for that team.
• You may remove your team from online at any time in the app.

Optional Online Player Profiles (Cloud)

If you create a public player profile, we may store:

• Public player ID, display name, optional city, batting/bowling style
• Optional profile photo
• Account identifier (one active profile per Google account)
• Career summary stats (for example matches played, runs, wickets, highest score, best bowling, last-match summary) updated only after confirmed online matches where your profile is linked on a published team
• Last activity date for retention

Others may find your profile by public player ID. Profiles with no activity for 180 days may be automatically deleted.

Online Match Result Confirmation

When both teams in a match are published online, a signed-in user may send a result for confirmation:

• If you own one of the teams, the other team’s owner is asked to accept or reject.
• If you are a signed-in neutral scorer (you own neither team), both team owners must accept before online records update.
• Guest users (not signed in) keep the match local only.

While a confirmation is pending, temporary data may be stored (scores, result text, optional venue/format, and limited linked-player performance lines needed to update careers). That temporary data is removed after successful confirmation, or discarded on reject, or removed if still unresolved after about 30 days from creation (resending does not extend that window).

Accepted confirmations update team online records and linked player career summaries. Rejected or expired requests do not.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

Some apps may display advertisements provided by Google AdMob. AdMob and its partners may collect and process information such as:

• Advertising ID
• Device information
• IP address
• App interaction data

This information may be used to provide personalized or non-personalized advertisements, depending on your location and consent settings.

Third-Party Services

Apps may use third-party services that process data under their own privacy policies, including:

• Google — sign-in (Google account)
• Supabase — cloud database and file storage for optional online features
• Google AdMob — advertising

I do not control all data practices of these providers. Please review their policies for more information.

Data Deletion

You can delete your online account and cloud data at any time:

• In the app: Profile → Delete account & online data (requires sign-in). You will see two confirmation screens.
• Web instructions: Delete Account
• Remove your team from online in the app (without deleting the whole account)
• Update or stop using your online player profile (or contact me to delete it)
• Sign out of your online account in the app
• Uninstall the app to remove local data from your device (subject to your device/OS behavior)
• Contact me to request deletion of account-related or online data

What is deleted: your Pak Cricket Scorer online sign-in, published team (including logo and that team’s cloud W/L/history), online player profile and photo, career cloud stats for your profile, and pending confirmations you submitted. Nothing is kept for backup or recovery.

What is not deleted: match data stored only on your device; your Google account; other teams’ records of matches against you (their W/L/history lines are not rewritten).

For data collected by Google AdMob or Google Sign-In, please also use Google’s account and privacy controls where applicable.

Data Security

Online data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS). I use reasonable technical and organizational measures through my service providers, but no method of storage or transmission is 100% secure.

International Users

My apps are available globally. By using optional online features, you acknowledge that information may be processed and stored outside your country of residence through my service providers.

Children’s Privacy

These Services are intended for a general audience and are not directed to children under the age of 13. I do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

If you believe that a child has provided personal information, please contact me so that appropriate steps can be taken.

Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location (such as the European Economic Area or California), you may have rights under applicable privacy laws, including access, correction, deletion, or restriction of processing.

Changes to This Policy

I may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
